The Brazilian Jiu- Jitsu Sports Federation of India is a non-governmental, non-profit, non-discriminatory, non-political organization that shall not discriminate on the ground of race, religion, general or politics.
The primary goal of the Brazilian Jiu- Jitsu Sports Federation of India n is to unify and organize existing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and sports Jiu-Jitsu federations throughout the India under one governing body that share the vision of reaching Olympic greatness and Goverment recognition.
The Brazilian Jiu- Jitsu Sports Federation of India seeks to have nationwide state associations who will expand, and improve nationwide the practice of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in light of its educational, cultural, and sports values (the “Jiu-Jitsu movement”). Each founded federation, along with existing federations, will work diligently to uphold the principles set forth by the Olympic Charter.
All sanctioned federations will work under the Brazilian Jiu- Jitsu Sports Federation of India’s one set of governing rules, hosting competitions in Gi and NoGi, and ranking athletes in their respective territories. The uniform structure of how these events are executed will lend validity to the sport, enabling it to grow into a recognized Olympic sport.
